This was without a doubt the

This was without a doubt the worst pub meal I have ever had - burnt and over cooked fish served with pickled red cabbage out of a jar! Disgusting.

Well worth a visit to this

Well worth a visit to this historic pub. The food is excellent, has a friendly atmosphere and plenty of special themed evenings. Good variety of beers on tap to suit all tastes.

Lovely pub & restaurant,

Lovely pub & restaurant, with original wooden beams. Great selection of beers & wines & very friendly staff. Their homemade steak and ale pie is to die for, with lovely fresh veggies. Well worth another visit and next time I am going to try their special bistro restaurant menu, looks really good.
