We live in Woodbridge but I like to call this my 'local pub'. Delicious, scrumptious food and delightful helpful service. 20 out of ten! 2008

What a fabulous place for brew or some supper! I first frequented this pub in 1988 on a rainy evening. As I stepped into the pub a nice fire was going in the fireplace that took the chill off the place. In the corner near the fire place an old black Labrador retriever struggled to his feet, shook violently as he barked us us welcome (I hope!) as we came in. He sniffed the air, we could tell he was blind the poor old dog, then settled down, curled up and went to sleep. The food was very good and reasonably priced, the beer good and plenty of it and company very friendly. I hope to go back someday for a mug of brew.
