After years of running his own kitchens in prestigious London hotels and The Swan Hotel in Southwold, chef David Goode has embarked on an adventure of a different kind - he has put his heart into Loaves & Fishes of Woodbridge, a speciality food outlet supplying fish (brought in fresh every day), organic local vegetables, artisan breads, and what has been described as ‘one of the largest collections of cheeses this side of Cambridge'. These cheeses include Suffolk Gold, Suffolk Blue, Buxlow Paigne from Friston, Buxlow Paigne Apple-Smoked, and Buxlow Gowd (a Suffolk Brie). Add to this David’s choice of olive oils, olives, antipastos, charcuteries, homemade patés, quiches and cakes, and the makings of a delectable lunch or supper are complete.
