Kathy's Café
Kathy’s Café is a bustling part of Aldeburgh’s coffee and lunch scene, with cosy outdoor terraces providing shelter in which to sit on sunny days. Inside, the crisp bright decor is always welcoming and forms an ideal backdrop for local artwork. Art displays change on a regular basis and are definitely worth a visit in their own right. Built as an extension to the existing Smith’s Bakery, Kathy’s prides itself in its homemade breads, cakes and pasteries. Its fresh soups are always popular, as are its creative sandwiches and lunches, but ultimately nothing beats Kathy’s most popular ‘bestseller’ - its Full English Breakfasts with copious delicious add-ons. Add a mug of Kathy’s excellent coffee, and you may find breakfast and lunch become one.
