Wing Cottage, Orford

Wing Cottage, Orford

Wing Cottage is the southern part of Castle House which enjoys probably the best location in Orford. The curtilage of the main house and Wing Cottage encompasses a full one acre plot between Orford Castle and Market Hill and is afforded almost complete privacy behind a high mature brick wall. The garden of Wing Cottage has been carefully separated from the main garden by a traditional Suffolk willow fence.

Great thought has been put into the presentation of this stylish holiday property with the use of the latest Farrow & Ball colours and light fittings from Suffolk's very own fabulous  Jim Lawrence. Two very spacious bedrooms, one with a luxurious en suite with walk in shower and the other with a dedicated bathroom with a massive walk in shower, separate bath and underfloor heating. The open plan sitting room, dining room and kitchen is communal but still has a degree of separateness. A log burner provides extra heating for the colder months.

There is a private gateway leading to a gravelled drive and parking space for two cars. Gates can be closed for complete privacy and security. There is also a pedestrian gate for even easier access to the shops and pubs. A complete delight already endorsed by the many who have already stayed here.

Sleeps 4 - 1 super king (or 2 singles) and 1 king bed

"We absolutely loved Wing Cottage - it is definitely one of the very best properties we have stayed in (Suffolk and Norfolk) and we will stay again soon."  Marie C, Surrey

"The cottage was very comfortable and a lovely place the stay." Katie H, Norfolk, 2015

"We have had an excellent stay at the cottage and will certainly be back again before too long. We also feel that this has been one of the best cottages that we have stayed in. John and Lizzie should be pleased with the very high standards they have set for the cottage and also the very good quality of the interior furnishings and fittings" Mr and Mrs Graham M, July 2013
