Lavenham was once an old wool trading town and is truly beautiful even today. There are oodles of beamed properties, large oak doors which were wide enough to allow the wool sacks to be unloaded into during the wool trading times.
The Swan is a stunning 4 star hotel with dining to suit all - be it for breakfast, morning coffee, informal lunch or formal dinner. The afternoon tea is a must and on Summery days there is a pretty garden to sit outside and enjoy a drink or bite to eat.
The 45 perfectly appointed bedrooms have all the little luxuries you would expect. Each room slightly different to the next, making them all utterly individual. They are as charming as they are comfortable.
The Swan often have dinner or lunch events so it is worth keeping an eye on their website.
Everything they do they do with style and flair.
