The Pink House, Aldeburgh (Sleeps 4)
The perfect cottage and location for a calm family holiday near the beach, The Pink House
is a lovely coastal retreat. The spacious sitting room, with French doors leading to the terrace, features two large and comfy sofas, well-suited for those family evenings snuggled up watching a DVD on the flat screen TV. A folding breakfast table is also tucked away, ready to be used after those long lie-ins we rightly cherish on holiday. To the right of the hallway, the dining room is both simple and stylish, with stripped wood floors and a calm light-blue colour scheme. The dining table seats four, which means at least a couple of family meals are imperative during your stay! Equally welcoming, the master and twin bedrooms, located on the first floor; each have plenty of storage space and the master bedroom has another flat screen TV if you find yourself struggling to switch off after a day exploring Aldeburgh’s many attractions.
A ten minute walk will take you into Aldeburgh’s high street, which has plenty of clothes shops (ranging from unique boutiques to favourites like Jack Wills and Crew), restaurants and cafes. A trip to The Golden Galleon
for fish and chips (or their equally delightful restaurant upstairs, The Upper Deck Diner) is something I thoroughly recommend, and Lawson’s delicatessen
is great if you want to cook your own meal at home using Suffolk’s delicious seasonal produce; the idea of a family board game with a blanket and your feet up is hard to beat.Sleeps 4 in one king and one twin bedroom
"There was nothing we could fault about The Pink House. Delighted with the property and the area. We plan to return."
