Built in 1828, The Fisher Theatre is one of the oldest provincial theatres in the UK.
It saw many changes in use before being brought back to its original use and re-opened in 2006.
Retaining many of its heritage features it now operates as more than a theatre with spaces available for hire for stage shows, events, meetings, conferences, art displays and private parties.
There is a Café & Bar on site, open Monday to Saturday from 10am to 3pm, and from 6pm on show nights. Tea, coffee and homemade cakes are available all day. They occasionally host theme nights: see here for more information.
From 6pm pre-show dinner is available but must be booked in advance. To do so, call the Box Office.
