With a name like this it was probably a foregone conclusion; but yes The Grundisburgh Dog does welcome dogs and their owners, but if you are not the doggy type don't be put off the welcome is discreet.
In our opinion the menu has improved enormously in recent years and an incognito staff visit in 2013 confirmed that you could have a wonderful evening and great food at this lovely pub. Well worth a visit.
The chef has her own very nice herb garden and in good weather there is plenty of room to eat outside.
