Shilling Grange was built in 1425, it is a beautiful Grade 1 listed historic house in the village of Lavenham in Suffolk.
Being one of Lavenham's most prestigious historic houses Shilling Grange is famous worldwide! The house first belonged to John Schylling, a wealthy wool merchant who had the house built for him and his family. It is found in the centre of the village on the picturesque Shilling Street. This wonderful historic house has charm and character with a wealth of original features including exposed beams in every room and high ceilings, inglenook fireplace, leaded-light windows in part of the house and the original wall paintings! The garden is a pretty, typically English garden, with lots of wild birds and wildlife to watch. There is plenty of private off road parking.
