Shepherds Watch, South Elmham

Step into Shepherds Watch (sleeping 6) and fall in love with the original beam work and vaulted ceilings that the cottage boasts! Starting life as a cart shed, the cottage has been beautifully transformed, yet it retains all the charm of the original structure. The wood burning stove offers a cosy winter home and the garden and surrounding fields provide a fantastic place to explore in the summer!

Leave the sunny fenced garden and go beyond the moat and you will find a track that will lead you to some beautiful walks past sheep and cattle - children will love it! There’s lambing at the start of the year, calves are born in early autumn and hens and guinea fowl roam around the farm. Guests are invited to wander the many tracks around the farm - please close the gates behind you - and beyond, along the footpaths that lead you around the ‘Saints’. By foot or bicycle, exploring this area is a must!

After playing on the trampoline or relaxing in the summer house, take the short drive to the beautiful Suffolk Coast! Southwold is just a 15 minute drive from the cottage and youngsters will love the golden sandy beaches! For the adults in your party the famous Adnams Brewery is an obvious choice. Take a tour around the brewery itself and enjoy a sample or two as you go! And as you’re at the beautiful seaside, why not munch on the delicious fish and chips!

Shepherds Watch is a brilliant property in a perfect location that families will adore.
