Nicholas Everitt Park is a traditional park, providing the perfect opportunity to view the Broads, with panoramic views and a number of attractions to enjoy.
It is used throughout the year for a number of events - with power boat racing taking place through the summer months, as well as brass band concerts, artist displays and garden fetes.
A frequent train service that runs into the town centre, and the award winning South Beach areas of Lowestoft are nearby.
As well as a traditional band stand, ample space for picnics, and seasonal flower beds, you will find a bowling green and tennis courts. Both bowling and tennis facilities are available and operate on a ‘pay and play’ basis. They are open from 10am until dusk from May to September inclusive.
The park is also home to an array of wildlife. The mature trees, grass and reeds provide lots of opportunities to enjoy the birds and other wildlife which frequent the space.
