Gone are the cattle markets, but every Friday stalls selling fruit and veg, plants, jewellery, country clothing, underwear, tools, car and movile phone accessories and more take their place.
9am - 3pm at the Market Place
On the 2nd Saturday of every month, in the market place, local producers and makers sell cakes, fudge, plants, game, snorkers, bread, pies, sausages, meat, apples, cider, free range eggs & more.
An increasing number of producers meet for a monthly 'themed' market tying in with seasonal changes & 'slowfood' principles. There is often live music and hot food & drinks are also available.
On the second Saturday in the month the Farmer's Market comes to town, and on the first and third Saturdays a flea market offers stalls piled high with hidden treasures.
Parking is free for the first hour in most of the town car parks.
