On the edge of the lovely village of Monks Eleigh, just 4 miles from Lavenham, Bridge Farm Barns houses 4 independent shops and a charming restaurant and tea room which  specialises in home cooked food throughout the day.

Open from 9.30am to 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sundays. Breakfasts are served from opening until 11.30am and hot meals between 11am and 4pm with sandwiches available at anytime. On Sundays they also offer a delicious home cooked roast lunch served from 12.30pm.  Definitely child friendly.

Corn Craft was opened back in the 1970s, since when it has diversified and now sells a great range of cards and gifts including jewellery, local prints, ceramics, stationery, preserves, candles, Wedding gifts, silk flowers and of course corn dollies - the largest stockist in the country.

An art form dating back to pagan times, the Corn Dolly was originally made out of the last sheaf of corn to capture the “corn spirit”. Kept over the winter, the Corn Dolly was returned to the fields in Spring and burned or buried to ensure that the coming years harvest would be successful. 

The Black Barn Toys & Games shop offers a great selection of affordable, out-of-the-ordinary toys and games for children.  Great place for Christmas shopping! They source toys and games from small outlets so you are unlikely to find anything similar in the high street shops.  Great play table for smaller children so parents can browse in peace.

The Summer House has a wonderful selection of garden architecture and gifts for the home - great for wedding presents and Christmas shopping.

Bridge Farm Plants is an independent nursery; the majority of their stock coming from their nursery in Newbourne near Woodbridge so should suit Suffolk soils.  The staff are knowledgeable and helpful so do ask.

Free parking and good disabled facilities.
