Beccles Golf Club is set on the heath to the north of the market town of Beccles, and is run by volunteers.
A little golf club with 9 holes, varying from par 3's through to par 5's, it has been in existence since 1899; the perfect place for a quiet game of golf.
'We play on a nine hole inland links type course with 9 casual mens tees, 18 competition mens tees and 9 ladies competition tees. Although we have no bunkers or water on the course we do have very small greens, lots of out of bounds and even more gorse, which many shots are played over.'
There is a wooden pavillion clubhouse, with a bar and function room, and mens and ladies changing rooms.
The course is available for the public to play for a small green fee which covers them under the clubs public liability insurance.
During the week the green fees for adults are £5.00 for 9 holes or £10.00 for 18 holes/all day. Bank Holidays are £10.00 and Juniors are half price.
