Located in the heart of Suffolk’s picturesque countryside close to the medieval Wool Towns including historic Lavenham, The Bildeston Crown is an original 15th century coaching inn which has been carefully renovated and refurbished to provide a comfortable and stylish base whilst retaining its original character, beams and open fires. The Bildeston Crown is perfectly situated for exploring all that our beautiful county has to offer throughout the seasons.
Why not visit The Brasserie? Rich, dark heritage colours and an abundance of original beams make this a warm and vibrant place to eat. The emphasis is on relaxed dining, and guests can select from any of the menus available. The Brasserie menu provides a good choice of classic dishes which change weekly.
Alternatively, pop into the stylish Bar, complete with bespoke hand decorated walls by Adam Calkin, exposed beams and a welcoming open fire in an original brick fireplace, making it a very special place to enjoy a drink. The adjoining lounge provides an equally inviting location to unwind and have a drink before your meal.
If the weather is good take advantage and enjoy a drink and maybe something light from the bar appetizer menu out on one of the terraces.
Dining tables are available in the bar area which is a very popular place to eat, booking is highly recommended to avoid disappointment!
