Carlton Marshes SWT

I had a very pleasant hour at Carlton Marshes this morning. I walked down to the cut and back listening to Grasshopper, Sedge and Reed Warblers. I watched both Barn and Long-eared Owl quartering the ground, a Sparrowhawk taking food to the nest and an otter swimming up the dyke.

Lovely peaceful spot, apart from the odd police siren in the distance..
