Excellent accommodation and far more friendly than an hotel. We look forward to returning

It is unusual to find a bed and breakfast which is so thoughtfully & tastefully decorated. All the facilities were spotless and the breakfasts were excellent. Rita was a most considerate landlady and catered for my special diet and the needs of our very elderly parents. It is very conveniently situated opposite a restaurant for an evening meal. (I am late writing this review as the facility did not exist in 2005 and I have just revisited the site to check details as I am recommending it to a friend)

Accommodation was clean, comfortable and, above all, quiet. Breakfast offered considerable choice and it was good to have home-made preserves. The proprietress was charming and obliging. I would have made it 9 points were it not for the advice to bath rather than shower!

Very pleasant and comfortable stay with a friendly and personal welcome. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast and found Rita, the landlady, to be extremely helpful and accommodating, going out of her way to assist us. Would recommend to anyone!
