We thoroughly enjoyed our
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alderton Hall. What a stunning building and gardens. It has a wonderful warming feeling, mainly down to the hosts, John & Lizzie. The accommodation is of the highest order, understated but some lovely touches, wherever you care to look. It was a great base to discover a part of the world we don’t know very well, at the moment! The countryside is fabulous with coastline, rolling hills, rivers, lovely pubs, great places to eat, extraordinary history. We shall definitely be back to discover more!
Hi John and Lizzie, thanks
Hi John and Lizzie,
thanks so much for a wonderful stay at Alderton Hall in July. The perfect base for the Latitude Festival. Can't tell you how much we appreciated the warm showers and hearty breakfast in the morning, and the comfortable beds after a hard day's bopping. A beautiful house in a lovely surrounding. See you again.
Tom, David, Mike and Hannah.
Alderton Hall B&B
A delightful place to spend a few days and really get away from it all. We've stayed a few times now and we like the coziness of the Bawdsey Room (very comfy bed!). It makes a nice suite for four people along with the Ramsholt Room and the little living room. If you prefer the grandeur of a four poster go for the spacious Alderton Room. Breakfast was gorgeous - try the fruit compote - served in the tranquil blue dining room. John and Lizzie are brilliantly friendly hosts who really make you feel at home. We'll be back.
