There's always plenty taking place in Suffolk around Halloween, be it spooky treats for the young'uns or terrifying scare experiences for the adults. So if walks through Suffolk's beautiful countryside aren't enough for you this autumn, how about checking out some of the heart-racing frights on offer in venues across the county.

  1. Scaresville

Every year, the grounds of Suffolk’s mighty Kentwell Hall are given over to this terrifying Halloween town. Expect live scares in an hour of pure adrenaline. Make your way through dark rooms, forests and open farmland uncovering the nigthmare hidden there!

Why we love it: Scaresville is one of Britain's Top Scare Attractions, and previous winner of a prestigious Screamie! award. This is an intense scare ezxperience - there are no safe-zones, no trailer rides, no get out! You will be exhausted from screaming and laughing so much.

The team at Landguard Fort host  a scary evening of fun and entertainment, with live scarers planted in the historic tunnels, spooky rooms to explore, live music, and eerie entertainment, including Hyjacked and Tutti Frutti Voices. And if you can stomach it after all that screaming, a BBQ and refreshments will be available for purchase, alongside tarot readings from Soul Whispers and spirit medium Spirit of Raindance.
