The White Lion Hotel
The White Lion Hotel is situated on the seafront in Aldeburgh, opposite the shingle beach where fresh fish is still sold from wooden fishing huts. The Crown and Castle
There has been a hostelry on the site of The Crown and Castle for around eight centuries, the original inn thought to be built into the walls of Orford castle. In fine weather you can sit on the terrace with a glass of wine and view the castle back-lit by the setting sun.
